Misc Tips:

  1. Get  cheap 14mm open-end wrench and file it flat to fit behind chain-idle wheel for proper chain adjustments
  2. Left peal has LEFT-HAND threads
  3. COLD STARTING- Choke is up and depress “tickler” 8-10 times quickly. Take choke off ASAP. Pull clutch in as soon as motor starts. Let motor warm up for at least 2  minutes.
  4. Gas cock has no reserve.  Get a speedo/odometer and fill tank ever 50 miles or sooner.
  5. ALWAYS TURN GAS COCK OFF WHEN NOT RIDING!!!! YOU MAY FLOOD THE ENGINE.
  6. ALWAYS pedal to 4-5 mph and “ease” clutch out to use motor only (NO WHEELIES..BIKE/MOTOR NOT MADE FOR THAT ABUSE).
  7. DON’T TAKE OFF WITH CLUTCH ONLY….. EVER!
  8. BREAK IN MOTOR RIGHT!!..vary throttle for 200 miles( no full-bore but for brief times)  Also, best to take short rides 10-15 minutes for first tank of gas and then let the engine cool down. Keep it below 20mph for 200 miles and don’t let it run at idle (in hot traffic) for more than the average light to turn.
  9. Careful pedaling while moving fast…don’t let your feet slip OFF! And no 30mph corners..tires are too skinny.
  10. Run 7-8 OZs  synthetic 2-stroke oil w/ each gallon of gas for 200 miles…then 6 OZs/GAL
  11. Adjust chain only at  ”tight” spot often, or chain may come off!. Usually next to move guide roller 1/8-1/4 inch.
  12. Check all nuts, bolts and fasteners for tightness before riding and often after riding.
  13. Get a mirror, lights, and obey the rules of the road…and have FUN!!
